About
Hi!
My name is Mark Zamora. I am a creator based in Decatur, TX. I am originally from San Diego, California. I’ve got a kick butt wife, Taylor, a baby girl Maliah and a big boy Malakai. I got into photography back in high school during a photography class. I didn’t think too much of it. I entered a photo contenst at the San Diego County Fair and won 2nd place. Even then I didn’t really think of myself as an artist. I played sports all throughout high school. When I moved to MN in 2012 I discovered my passion for the arts. There was a need in my job for creating current photos/videos. And I found my self picking up a camera again. I fell in love with creating new photos/videos/designs and worked towards making it my career!
In 2022 I joined BrainStation’s bootcamp program for UX Design. Here I learned many tools from creating personas to developing active prototypes. One of my favorite elements of UX Design is the process that goes behind finding the solution. From doing research online, to creating a script and interviewing people. It’s not just a random solution to a problem. I love diving deeper into finding the root of the problems. UX Design is also a great way for me to blend all the different creative practices into one.
